About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

Accidental Red is a five-member musical group featuring female vocals, piano, upright bass, drums, sax, flute, and accordion. The band name was coined minutes before our first open mic appearance over 11 years ago when our original brunette vocalist warned us she was arriving with unintentional red hair à la Jessica Rabbit. We perform covers of songs from the 20's to today, all with a light jazz feel. Setlists are custom designed, whether it be Roaring Twenties, 40's Swing, 60's Pop, or a mix of many styles and genres. Recent venues include The Watergate Hotel, Lee-Fendall House Museum and Garden, Workhouse Arts Center, Lake Anne Jazz Festival, and Cascades Overlook Town Center.

Fundraiser•Reviewed on June 15, 2016•From Arlington, VA

Accidental Red was perfect! They are talented, pleasant, professional and accommodating. They did an excellent job performing at our "Jazz in the Park" event, and I received tons of compliments for having selected them. Everyone loved their music! In preparation for the event, they were extremely responsive and reliable. They brought their own equipment and accommodated our outdoor venue. They arrived well ahead of the event to set up, and played even longer than agreed upon. I strongly recommend Accidental Red and would definitely book them again.

Private Party•Reviewed on March 19, 2016•From Annandale, VA

The Band was fabulous and catered to the residents in a very unique way. They interacted, sang songs of our residents era and clearly had a love for their group and bringing joy to their audience. Every instrumentalist was extremely talented. The band had clearly practiced well and exhibited a great blend and balance in their performance. We truly enjoyed their smooth way of sharing of their talent and we hope to have them back in the future. Pam Phillips, ED Arden Courts of Annandale Assisted living for those with memory impairment

Accidental Red:

Thanks Pam! We all had a great time at the Mardi Gras open house and look forward to returning to Arden Courts soon. Ron

Community Event•Reviewed on August 9, 2016•From Occoquan, VA

Accidental Red performed for a summer concert for the Town of Occoquan and did a fantastic job! They were very professional in spite of rain delays. The crowd enjoyed their music immensely, as did I, and I do not typically like jazz! Their song choices were great and they engaged the crowd. Would absolutely hire them again!

Accidental Red:

Thanks Donna! The new River Mill Park is beautiful. Looking forward to more! Ron
