Al Fresco is a jazz ensemble – piano (keyboard), saxophones and flute, bass and drums – with years of experience playing in the greater DC area. The group's eclectic repertoire includes show tunes, standards, bebop and popular Latin tunes composed or performed by George Gershwin, Duke Ellingotn, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Stevie Wonder and the Beatles among others. The music we offer is sophisticated swing, easy listening, and suitable for background accompaniment or dancing. The members of the group are musicians who project a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. We enjoy what we do, welcome requests and strive to create an entertaining environment to enhance your venue or special occasion. We are available as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet and we include a male or female vocalist as requested.

The Al Fresco trio were simply fantastic! They performed for our son’s engagement party for 2.5 hours, provided a plethora of songs, executed flawlessly, and sounded phenomenal. They were professional and accomodating in their person and craft. Thank you, Paul and band members for making our celebration just perfect!

We booked the five-piece jazz ensemble “Al Fresco” (sax, vocalist, piano, bass and drums) for my 70th birthday party and they were incredible the entire night. Before booking, I had provided a summary of what I was looking for and Al Fresco met every wish, knocking it out of the park completely. We hosted 100 guests at the event and danced the night away, with everyone repeatedly regaling the band’s sophisticated upbeat sound. They are an amazingly talented group and we are already looking for another celebration opportunity to book them again. I highly recommend them for any live band venue.
