OVERVIEW Blue Quatro creates Music For Life! Suitable for just about any event or environment, people adore the sound of Blue Quatro... they love the world music vibe. From bossa novas, boleros, jazz and pop to standards, all their songs are rich and full of life! MEET THE BAND ~Mao Shimizu is the beautiful lead vocalist with the spellbinding voice and wide stylistic range. She is also a classical piano player and a music educator. Besides music, her passion for creation is also in painting. She has created a lot of original art. ~Victor Salas is the talented bassist. He is also an accomplished percussionist. Victor came to Los Angeles from Mexico City many years ago. He has had the fortune and privilege of sharing the stage with many famous artists from the Latin Jazz to the Pop scenes. He has performed all over the US and plays a wide variety of styles. ~Hector Rivera holds down the backbeat, the front beat, the syncopation and all things rhythmic. Hector was born in Mexico & emigrated to Los Angeles in 1993. He graduated with a double major in Drums & Percussion from Los Angeles College of Music - Pasadena, CA. He is also a writer & producer. ~Chris Jones is on keys and some vocals. Chris was born in Ventura and grew up right here in L.A. He was lucky enough to retire from engineering before he was sixty and now dedicates his life to his passion: making music. FAST LEARNERS Every member of Blue Quatro is an experienced musician and a fast learner. What this means is, with two weeks' notice, you can request your favorite song and we'll perform it at your event. Works for everybody!!!
