Cindicate is a smooth jazz band in the style of Fourplay, Larry Carlton, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, and Norman Brown. Cindicate plays smooth R&B jazz as well as classic jazz and remakes of contemporary pop songs albeit played with a smooth jazz twist. Cindicate is a 5 piece band that can also play as a four piece acoustic set when needed. The main soloist and instrument that handles most melodies is our guitarist, former Los Angeles session player. Additionally, Cindicate offers vocals on half of their songs with percussionist/vocalist Frank O'Bryant, who brings a gospel style approach and sound with contemporary jazz. Aside from their sound, what sets Cindicate apart is the energy of the band and audience interaction. Simply, Cindicate is fun! You don't often associate that with smooth jazz bands. "We love music! We love to play and create beautiful and unique landscapes but we also want people to have fun when they come to hear us. We like interaction with everyone that comes out.
