We are experts in performing the jazz standards that you adore, such as "Unforgettable," "Fly Me To the Moon," "Our Love is Here to Stay," and "S'Wonderful." Our main influence comes from renowned performers like Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughan, and composers like The Gershwin Brothers, Count Basie, and Cole Porter. As a jazz singer with over 25 years of experience, I collaborate with you to craft the ideal musical ambiance that will elevate your guests' experience. Whether you're hosting a wedding cocktail hour, corporate event, holiday celebration, cocktail party, fundraiser gala, or birthday bash, we provide an extra layer of atmosphere to make your upcoming occasion even more memorable. Our music styles range from cool-vibe background music to social and high-energy swing dance options. We accomplish this by offering flexible instrumentation that can range from solo piano to a sextet. Additionally, I collaborate with two groups if you're interested in a full big band experience. The first is a nine-piece "chamber" size band, and the second is a larger 18-member band. We have performed at events such as galas, fundraisers, and corporate events for esteemed organizations like Women Venture, The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Grantmakers in Health, Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute, and Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy. We have also played at private events like weddings, house parties, private music salons, corporate holiday parties, and client appreciation gatherings.
