Danielle Reich Jazz Band from Houston, TX

Danielle Reich sings the music of the 1920s, 30s, 40s & beyond. Danielle starts with a foundation of American Songbook favorites, then draws from an eclectic array of French chanson (à la Edith Piaf), gypsy jazz (à la Django Reinhardt), and jazz-interpreted pop ranging from Leonard Cohen to Radiohead to The Beatles. Danielle performs solo, and with groups from a duo to an octet. Danielle also performs with Swing Rendezvous (gypsy jazz) and Boomtown Brass Band (New Orleans style “trad” jazz). She tailors her extensive repertoire to each event, and can include favorite standards, French, Spanish, and Italian songs, holiday tunes, and pop and country tunes performed in a jazz style.
