Show to show, the Foothill Jazz Collective acts as a creative vessel of inspired improvisations and jams. Comprised of a network of top Sacramento musicians, FJC blends elements of swing, funk, Latin, and reggae into an exciting cauldron of modern jazz. With an emphasis on deep grooves and spontaneity, the creative muse is sure to arise whatever the occasion. The Foothill Jazz Collective most commonly performs as trio or quartet. Barry Eldridge (drums), Paul Klempau (bass), Scott Collard (keyboards), and Arlyn Anderson (guitar) comprise the core of the group. Other regular contributors include Joe Berry, Darius Babazadeh, Andre Fylling, Matt Robinson and Nahum Zydbel.

Recommend them? Yes, I would! And there were 60+ people attending my party who were thrilled with them as well Almost without exception, as people were saying their goodbyes to me (and before that as well) I received SO much positive feedback. Thank you Foothills Jazz Collective. You were so accommodating to our flexible "party schedule". And thanks for so enthusiastically allowing my sax-playing husband to join in on a number he knew. You were great fun and really helped make it a party. Hope we have the opportunity to see you again at a future event.
