James Andrews often called the "Satchmo of the Ghetto," is a legendary trumpeter and vocalist from New Orleans, coming from a rich musical heritage. He's performed with notable brass bands like the Treme' Brass Band and the New Birth Brass Band and he also leads his own Band, the Crescent City All-Stars Jazz Band. Throughout his career, he's had the opportunity to perform for a wide range of clients and travel around the world, sharing his incredible music. James Andrews have had the honor of playing with some music legends. He collaborated with Dr John on the album "Satchmo of the Ghetto," which was produced by Allen Toussaint. He also performed with Quincy Jones and Dizzy Gillespie, adding even more impressive names to his list of accomplishments!
