I'm a musician who hired Martini Lunch to play for an event I hosted. Leader Tim Hays is a true professional and great to work with for the event. We hired the jazz quartet with vocal doubling as: bass/piano/percussion/sax For three hours background music for a dinner event of 100 people. Perfect. They easily added songs I pre-requested and even arranged a tune for me. Easy to email for questions with quick turn around time.

We had a fantastic experience with Martini Lunch at our parent's 50th Anniversary Party. They were on-time, easy to work with and most importantly - they sounded fantastic. They played a lot of standards that everyone loved. They didn't need any instruction because these guys are professionals and masters of their craft. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for parties, weddings, receptions, work events, and more. Cheers to Martini Lunch!

Martini Lunch was the perfect band for our wedding reception. Tim was very accommodating and helpful when picking songs for the perfect song list. I highly recommend them to anyone. The band leader contacted me so quickly on gigmaster, sent playlists and information right away. He even happily accommodated arranging for me to listen to the band before booking! When I mentioned I played an instrument, he even suggested I play with the band, which was a hit at the reception. The music was fabulous, a great mix that made everyone dance. I can't thank them enough for making the reception an absolute blast! I would recommend Martini Lunch to everyone I know.

Martini Lunch was amazing!!! Very nice and great entertainment!!! They took request of songs right on the spot and executed them smoothly!! I'm so happy I was able to have them for my anniversary party!!! Very professional and accommodated to all my needs !!! Especially Tim, he was always available to help throughout the whole process. My party was amazing with them and many of my guests did ask for their contact info! They were just really good!

It was simply an unbelievable experience working with Tim Hays and Martini Lunch. These guys are first class, very easy to work with, and worth every penny. Our wedding guests had a great time and continue to compliment us on how great the band was. They arranged a wonderful set of songs for everyone to enjoy and dance to. Leading up to the wedding, Tim was always helpful and friendly with responding to all our questions. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Tim and his band. I had the pleasure of having Martini Lunch perform at my wedding reception on September 5, 2014. The main reason I was drawn to them was their professionalism and great value. I thought they did an outstanding job and were even allowed me to sing a special song to my bride as they accompanied. Thanks for the great time, only suggestion I would have that would step up their performance even more would be to schedule a time to review the songs they will play and get an idea of which songs the bride and groom would desire. I have heard of other bands doing this but besides that small detail they were amazing. Thanks!

We hired Martini Lunch to play at my Mother's 70th birthday party. They were fantastic! They are GREAT musicians. They arrived right on time and were kind and friendly. I had been concerned that the music would be prohibitively loud for the guests, however the sound level was perfect. We were able to converse during the sets and yet it was loud enough to be the highlight of the party and everyone danced the night away. They were very gracious about taking requests and pausing for toasts and speeches. All the guests wanted to know how we found them because they were fantastic. I couldn't recommend them strongly enough. They made the party so special.

We booked H&O Jazz for our wedding reception and they were awesome! Tim (the band leader) who handeled all the preperation was very professional and accommodating. Our reception was on a cruise ship and they did a great job in dealing with all the special requirements on a boat. Their music was perfect and we got a lot of compliments from our guests! 5 Stars.

DO NOT BOOK THIS BAND!! We hired Martini Lunch for my son's backyard grad party. We told them it would be an outdoor situation (our yard is over an acre in size) with approx. 30-50 people. They asked for a dedicated space that was social distanced from the party. We TAPED out the patio area so no one would be too close. They KNEW the set up- it was a backyard party. At the time they were scheduled to perform, the keyboardist said he was freaked out and LEFT!! This band left me with no entertainment for my party. Tim offered to return my deposit. I didn't want the deposit back I wanted entertainment! They left me without ANY Options. Unprofessional!!

COVID ALERT - While I was going to play for this unmasked large group, the keyboard player for our duo would not - citing Illinois guidelines. I apologized profusely, and refunded the client her deposit on the spot. Yes, I have the cancelled refund check for the deposit she cashed. We've never received less than a 5 star review in over 15 years, and have never even been late for a gig. I'm truly sorry this happened. We live in difficult times.
