MC3 - Jazz to the 3rd power Jazz Band from Topanga, CA

MC3 celebrates The American Song Book, from Jazz standards to Broadway, including bossas, blues, swing, cabaret and contemporary songs set to Jazzy grooves. Members of the trio are Mary Crescenzo on vocals, Roch Bordenave and Paul Mesches. Ballads and up-tempo tunes can be tailored to the style, theme, and mood of your event. Never too loud but always with energy and passion. Current Topanga, CA resident and native New Yorker, Mary has sung in Los Angeles with The LA Love Band at the annual Annenberg Beach House MDB Celebration, at the West LA band shell with the Del Rey Community Jazz Band, with the Dave Leech Trio at Pip’s on La Brea, with The Top Hat Big Band, and at various private events. In New York City, Mary has performed at the historic Swing 46 Jazz Supper Club, in off-Broadway productions, and in numerous clubs in New York. Roch Bordenave is a Los Angeles native who’s traveled all over the world as a sideman, having toured with Mel Tormé's Jazz Orchestra, Eddie Kendricks & David Ruffin, Martha Reeves, Three Dog Night, Mary Wells and many more. He is an in-demand voice actor and professional disc golfer. Locally, you can catch him with PSYCH!-The Unexpected Big Band, The Steely Dan Tribute Doctor Wu, and his own group, The Roch Band.  Paul Mesches, a Los Angeles native, has composed, arranged and conducted for TV, film, commercials, industrials in NY and LA. Besides being MC3’s musical director, Paul currently plays with LA ensembles and Big Bands. He is a former educator and band director in New York.
