It was an absolute pleasure to have Sunyatta perform at our wedding ceremony and reception. Sharon and Shelly are first class all the way! They are highly accomodating, professional, and top notch as performers and musicians. I would recommend them for any event or function. You won't be disappointed!

Sharon and the rest of the perfomers of Sunyatta were terrific! They understood the purpose of our corporate event and created the perfect musical atmosphere. It was everything we wanted and more. We will definatley book them again next year!

Sunyatta was the PERFECT band for our party of 30 - 60 somethings ... with a grippe of teenagers thrown in ... everybody danced and had fun ... they even threw in a greek song for us! Everyone wanted to know where i found the band ... i am already thinking of how i can use the 3 or 5 piece group at my next party! Shelly is a grand piano player and Sharon sings so beautifully and they are both a delight to have around! I can not reccommend this duo highly enough. It was also easy to "shop" at gig masters ... i didn't think to secure a band until 2 weeks before my husbands 50th birthday party (oops) and they found me this fabulous band who would probably have been my choice if i'd have had months to look!!! thanks sunyatta and gig masters!

I recently hired the Band Sunyatta for my mother's 80th birthday party. I found them under the listing of "swing bands" on the Gigmasters Website. The party was in Kissimmee and I saw that Sunyatta performed in the Central Florida area. After getting the bands information, I E-mailed Sharon of Sunyatta with questions. Some of Mom's favorites are big band, swing, and Frank Sinatra. Sharon assured me that they played all of this type music and there was also an audio that I could listen to online beforehand...they sounded great! I talked to Sharon on the phone and we worked out all the details. Everything was clear cut and professional. In the meantime...Mom faxed over a song wish list to Sunyatta. We chose a 4 piece combo band. Lead singer, saxophone player, keyboard, and drums. The band arrived about 2 hours early to set up. They were all dressed to the nines! Sharon is even more beautiful in person than her online photo, and her personality...she is just a complete "doll." There were approximately 200 guests at mom's party. They just absolutely Loved Sunyatta! The songs brought back a lot of fond memories to the older people at the party. They were having so much fun dancing. I think it had been a long time since a lot of them had danced like this. Of course Sunyatta also included some fun dance and disco type songs too, at mom's suggestion that all ages were dancing to! we all had a blast dancing to Margaritaville! In closing, Mom told me that having Sunyatta play was the best Birthday Gift that her daughters could have ever gotten her! Even though she was turning eighty that night, Sunyatta took her back to many happy years of her life as was evident from the big smile on her face from party's start to finish! We picked Sunyatta after listening to many sound clips on the gigmaster site. At first it was a bit like jumping off a cliff since many of my family and friends are professional musicians and getting a competent band was higher on my priority list than any of the other many decisions that are made when planning a wedding. However from the get go Sunyatta was willing to address our wants and even learned(a bunch) of tunes for us that were not on their regular play list. This band thrilled us all! Thanks so much!
