The Manhattan Affair duo performs from Norfolk to D.C., bringing the best of the romantic jazz and R&B standards to your special event. We play at weddings, corporate events, military events and private parties/country clubs around the entire region. Our sophisticated vocals and elegant piano music are specifically tailored to provide the ideal backdrop for guest arrival, cocktails, dinner and/or dancing. From Sinatra and Bennett to Bublé and Jarreau, The Manhattan Affair delivers a broad repertoire of jazz favorites. Tony Ingram (vocalist) has been a professional singer since he was 15 in all kinds of genres, from acoustic folk to R&B/funk. The old jazz standards have always held a special place for him, and he loves singing them. Through the years, Tony has had the privilege of performing for governors, CEOs and many distinguished citizens at black-tie events in the Northeast part of the country. Now he lives in Williamsburg, and has the opportunity to do what he loves most. The appreciation the audiences have for the nostalgic jazz standards never seems to fade, and Tony considers it a blessing that he is able to help keep introducing new audiences to this time-honored music. John Mason, Tony's award-winning piano accompanist, is a veteran of the New York club circuit and has toured the U.S. extensively, from Key West to Vermont. His résumé also includes many Virginia venues, including Busch Gardens. His relaxed style and polish are the perfect complement to Tony's soothing vocals. The Manhattan Affair is available in any configuration to suit a particular event, whether it's just for cocktails or for the entire evening's entertainment.
