The Skyline Jazz BandJazz Band from Boston, MA

Boston's The Skyline Duo / Trio / Quartet are the perfect addition for the classier event, wedding, party or gathering. (For certain events the band can perform straight instrumental jazz with no vocals at the clients request.) Together their chemistry will bring the listener with them as they perform some of the greatest songs ever composed. Their style is rooted in the jazz traditions but they also mix in a touch of songs from The Great American song book to classic popular music instrumentally or with vocals . Skyline can also perform as a trio or quartet. Steve Heck on keys, Joe C. Esposito on sax , Greg Silva on upright bass and and Steve Langone on drums. For the proper event both Greg and Steve Heck sing. Steve is a Boston legend and has performed all over the city for decades he is also a professor at Berklee College Of Music. Joe is one of the countries best sat players. He has performed with Tony Bennet, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, and the temptations to name a few. Steve is one Boston’s to drummers. He teaches at Berklee and has performed through out South America and China as well as the the U.S and Europe. For your event we would do it solely instrumental. Greg plays upright bass and composes. In 2007 Greg was voted "Outstanding Bass Player" by The Blues Audience. Highlights include playing the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland and The Bern Jazz Fest in Switzerland as well extensive touring the U.S, Canada and Europe. Steve has played through out the U.S., Brazil, Europe and China and teaches at Berklee College of music. We perform a wide range of classic jazz with some latin mixed in, from Duke Ellington, Coltrane, Bill Evans to Jobim and everything in between! *WE ALSO CAN DO MODERN POP SONGS INSTRUMENTALLY.
