Tina Hashemi is a jazz singer who performs regularly with her band throughout Virginia at a variety of venues. She is a recent graduate of the University of Virginia music program and is now based in Charlottesville, VA. She brings a sweet sensibility to classic jazz standards and never sings them the same way twice! You can expect a personalized, professional and hassle-free experience with our band. Our repertoire consists mainly of classic jazz standards and we are happy to work with clients to fulfill song and setlist requests. Depending on what you are looking for, we can provide the bursting energy of a swing dance band or the mellow background music to a classy cocktail hour. We supply our own sound and will arrive early to set up and ensure the sound levels are appropriate for the venue. Booking options range anywhere from a duo of voice with piano/guitar to a full quintet of voice, trumpet/saxophone, piano, bass, and drums. We most typically perform as a trio or quartet as shown in the gallery.
