I use a piano, hammond organ and pedal board to play songs in the category of jazz, american songbook, latin and rhythm and blues. My equipment is compact midi so I can fit into small locations. The foundation of my music is bass. Right-hand organ expresses melodies while my left hand plays jazz piano harmony and chords. More than 50% of my music is piano and bass to allow more "space" and less intensity. I do not play loudly. The bass component of my tunes is substantial, I am rhythm oriented. While I use a bass amplifier to generate the bass and organ, my piano sound comes from a small elevated PA speaker. People can hear each other when having a conversation while I am playing tunes.
