About
Saxophonist/singer/multi-instrumentalist, Ricky Sims, performs songs that everyone will be dancing to, singing to, eating to and drinking to at your next beach party, corporate event, birthday party, anniversary, and any other event you can imagine. I perform songs by such artists/songwriters as: The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Elvis Presley, Katy Perry,
Neil Diamond, The Beatles, The Mamas and The Papas, The Motown Sound, Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, John Sousa, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Jimmy Buffett,
The Everly Brothers, CCR, Special Occasion Songs(Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Holiday celebrations), Glenn Miller, Patsy Cline, John Michael Montgomery, Billie Ray Cyrus, Johnny Cash and others..I have enough material to perform for four hours without repeating a song and I do not take "breaks". Though I generally perform in a "Tux", I have a large selection of "Parrot Head" shirts available for any "casual" event. My backing tracks are produced by me playing all of the instruments that you hear. My sound system produces a smooth/full sound without be loud or overbearing. I am a full-time, professional entertainer and I have performed at venues such as: Downtown Disney, The Bel-Air, The Hotel Del,
Checkers, and beaches such as: Newport Beach, Redondo Beach, Coronado Beach. I will always give you want you requested and then "a little something extra".

Ricky Sims Performances’s Response:

Greetings, Kara...your review of my performance is most appreciated, but you made it easy for me. You worked hard securing the venue and the caterer. You had the venue decorated, beautifully. Your guests for the birthday celebration were festive and ready for a good time and your attention to details was most infectious. Watching you orchestrate this event motivated me to be the very best that I could be. I would be more than happy to perform for you or any of the guests at the party in the future. Thank you, once again, Kara, for choosing me to perform and thank you for doing your part to help make this world "a wonderful world". With warm regards, Ricky S

Ricky was organized, communicative and entertaining! He adjusted on the spot to our crowd who didn't just want background music from him. He had the whole crowd singing along and enjoying hist stories - more than just background music - I highly recommend hiring Ricky and I will certainly have him back to our theater again!

I couldn't be more pleased with Ricky Sims Performances!! He really created an awesome, warm and inviting atmosphere for my company's corporate event at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, California. He provided a nice, mix of current and classic entertainment on his saxophone and even pulled out some singing! Ricky Sims was a perfect touch to the evening. This was one of my first experiences using Gigmasters and I am truly satisfied!!!

Ricky is an extremely talented musician. We had a surprise 60th birthday party for my Dad and his performance made the evening extra special! He was easy to communicate with before the event and tailored the evening to our requests. Ricky was very professional but also easy going and made the night so fun!
