Bob was very professional and kind. He was flexible with the type of event I wanted to put on. I was celebrating Louis Armstrong at the library, and Bob created a slideshow with details on his life and career. He even let one of the kids blow on his trumpet as the performance wrapped up.
I consider myself a crooner and a traditional musical purist. As much as possible, I recreate the look and sound of the entertainers from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Singing alone (or with my band). There are no egos here. I listen carefully to my customers wishes for ambiance and mood and will be flexible to create just the right atmosphere for your event or party. My goal is for you to meet your expectations for a great experience.
Jazz was my first love in high school band where I was 1st trumpet and played in the dance-band. In the 70s I grew my hair long and was a front man - guitarist/vocalist in a band that played classic rock, appearing at some of the biggest rock clubs in the Philly area and also down the shore. In my older years, my musical tastes have drifted back to Mile Davis, John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Wes Montgomery, and Chet Baker to name a few. I cover quite a few Chet Baker songs on trumpet, which is one of my favorite musical experiences. As for singing, Sinatra is certainly a mainstay as well as many of the other greats.
