Thank you for your interest--we would love to provide music for your event. We are a tenor saxophone quartet, with a piano, bass and drum rhythm section. This instrumentation, combined with the highly skilled and professional musicians on my team will provide the perfect acoustic background. The dynamic range of the piano combined with the melodic and sonorous tones of the tenor saxophone provide a soft and lyric elegance making your event all the more memorable. We also have an organ quartet with saxophone, guitar and drums when a more soulful and high energy mood is desired. We play all of the great American standards by Gerswin, Cole Porter, Carmicheal, Ellington, Kern, Hammerstein, including classics from the Blue Note era, by Miles Davis, John Coltrane and many others. These groups have played many weddings and other events in the DC Metro area to very satisfied clients over the past 15 years, at Embassies, the Department of State, the World Bank, the MGM Casino and other venues. We play our own arrangements of rich and melodic ballads, medium swing, up tempo swing, bop tunes, and Latin numbers.
