We're here to offer a refreshing sets of New Orleans Rhythm and Blues and Juke Joint Country We're always happy to add a few of your favorites to the list. Artists who inspire me include Dr, John, Bob Dylan, Sturgill Simpson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Chris Stapleton, The Band, Gram Parsons, Muddy Waters, CCR, The Meters, and Allen Toussaint. Ted Hefko's New Orleans Band consists of myself on vocals, guitar, sax & sometimes clarinet along with electric guitar, bass, keyboard and drums with the addition of horns and/or a female vocalist for larger events. Ted Hefko and The Thousandaires have five albums of originals, featuring our unique blend of New Orleans Jazz and Roots Rock. Our latest album, "Down Below" has been played on blues radio, the world over. We perform regularly and travel quite frequently, so don't hesitate to contact us outside the New Orleans Area. We've brought our unique sound to Saint Francisville, LA, Fairhope, AL, Austin, Tx, Zachary, LA. Natchez, MS. Lubbick, TX. Tulsa, OK, Charleston, SC, Nashville, TN and Thomas WV to name few!
