Wedding ReceptionReviewed on June 6, 2011From New Harmony, IN

I could not have been happier with Cynthia and Bob! I am a singer myself so hiring someone to entertain at my reception was hard, but they were one of my favorite parts to the reception. Cynthia and Bob also looked fantastic! They were dressed so professionally and I was just blown way from my whole experience with them. Thank you Cynthia and Bob for making our special day unforgettable!

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on November 1, 2010From Cape Girardeau, MO

Jazzafloozie was fantastic! I requested several specific songs for my wedding reception and they played all of them. The guests could not stop talking about their talent- in other words, everyone was impressed. They are also two of the nicest people I have ever met.

WeddingReviewed on May 9, 2009From Memphis, TN

Amazing! Sound exactly as they do on the mp3's I downloaded before booking them. All of our guests commented how wonderful they were and asked where we found them. So easy to work with. They even battled a horrible storm to get to our event. Could not be more impressed with their music and professionalism!!! Would recommend everyone hire them for your next event!

For this black tie event, Cynthia and Bob were extremely professional! Not only did they look great, but they sounded great and delivered a beautiful jazz performance. There were a number of positive comments from the guests as well. Also, whenever there were questions asked of Cynthia and Bob, they responded in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend hiring them to anyone who wants a wonderful sounding duo who are extremely accomodating and easy to work with!

Vocalist Cynthia McDonald and Instrumentalist Bob Green were fantastic! They provided a great choice of music genre that added a real touch of class to the event. Many others that were in attendance went on and on about how this Jazz Duo was a wonderful musical background to the days events. Ms. McDonald and Mr. Green touched the hearts and souls of everyone in attendance from the young to the young at heart.

Cynthia and Bob are the cats meow! They bent over backwards to work with our cast and dancers at a Roaring 20's party/fund raiser. If you want talented musicians that will work different types of themed events then I would highly recommend Cynthia and Bob! They were on time and were set up and ready to play in a flash! They are very nice, polite individuals, I felt like I had known them for years! We will for sure be using Cynthia and Bob for upcoming events. Scott Todd with Creative Environments Troy,MO

FundraiserReviewed on November 16, 2007From Evansville, IN

Cynthia and Bob were part of a Black Tie Art Auction benefitting a local charity, on who's committee I am pleased to be a part. Their performance during our silent auction/mingle hour was the icing on the cake for the event. Literally everyone commented on how wonderful they were. Cynthia looked lovely in her red evening gown and the music really set the tone for the rest of the evening. We couldn't have had a better experience. They made the event.

FundraiserReviewed on November 10, 2007From Paris, IL

This was a fund raiser for our local hospital. Cynthia and Bob were very professional and the music couldn't have been better or fit the theme of the evening any closer. They did everything we asked, and everyone commented on the "great music". We recieved calls the next day thanking us for having them. I would reccomend Cynthia and Bob to anyone needing a great sound performed by very talented people. They made me look good.

Anniversary PartyReviewed on August 4, 2007From Bluefield, VA

Cynthia McDonald and Bob Green her musical partner performed at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Cynthia's smooth vocals and Bob's expertise on the keyboard, saxaphone, and other instruments added the perfect touch to the celebration. They were both very professional, gracious, and very responsive to our requests. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future. I received numerous compliments concerning their performance and my parents thought they were wonderful. Blair Armbrister

Private PartyReviewed on August 23, 2007From Louisville, KY

This was a very positive experience. They set up right on time in a rather unusual location. This was a retirement party for our World Champion Saddlebred horse, CH Sammyshine. The party was outdoors in a show barn at the Kentucky State Fair. They provided great music for 200++ people and helped create a fantastic relaxed yet festive atmosphere for our party. They had top quality equipment and were able to adjust easily to the unusual location. On top of that they were nice people. I feel like we have made new friends. I highly recommend Cynthia for your next event.

Anniversary PartyReviewed on June 10, 2007From Carmel, IN

Cynthia McDonald and her partner Bob Green are very talented and provided a wonderful performance for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary party. Many of the guests were very impressed with how well Cynthia sings and Bob's exceptional versataity with different instruments. Everything Cynthia did, from providing a contract promptly, responding to email inquiries, and singing her heart out, was greatly appreciated and done with professionalism. I would not hesitate for an instant to recommend her for anyone wanting the beatiful music of the Golden Era of Jazz and Big Bands. Cynthia provided exactly what she said she would and looked great doing it. She's very pretty and can sing wonderfully. Both she and Bob are a perfect combination for any special event. Many Thanks, Barbara Barg

WeddingReviewed on June 2, 2007From Saint Louis, MO

Cynthia and Bob were absolutely perfect for our event. It is always difficult to chose a band for something as important as your wedding reception. They were professional, had wonderful stage presence, very talented. I was worried because we only hired the 2 of them as they came to St. Louis, but it was like a full band. They made all the arrangements with our venue, set up well in advance as not to interrupt our dinner. They were so accomodating and really a class act. I would recommend to anyone.

Cynthia McDonald was highly professional in all our dealings with her. She was hired along with Bob Green as the entertainment for a wedding reception. Both are extremely talented and everyone commented on how great they were. Cynthia was easy to work and more than accomdating, going the extra step to make everything perfect. Cynthia and Bob compliment each other in great style. The proformance was more than good .... it was fantastic. Would not hestitate to hire Cynthia for any occasion and most certainly will do so again. PS: Get her CD - You will really enjoy it.....

Private PartyReviewed on December 3, 2005From Celestine, IN

Cynthia McDonald did not come but a band member of hers did, Bob Green. He was FANTASTIC and we want him back for next year. I can't say enough good things about the evening. He really added to the night a beautiful atmosphere. We danced. We relaxed. We loved it! All our guests commented on how wonderful it was. He was more than we expected. He is very talented. He played flute, keyboards and, my favorite, the sax. We loved his music and hope to see him perform again locally. Thanks again and Happy Holidays! The Meltons

Wedding Cocktail HourReviewed on September 10, 2009From Evansville, IN

Our event was from 6:30 to 9, (2 1/2 hours) for $500, with the focus being on entertaining our guests during cocktail hour and dinner. Eventhough we had discussed that a scheduled break should be taken during the toasts and 20 minute video montage, totalling probably 25 or 30 minutes, a break was taken while my guests were eating (the price includes (3)-15 min. breaks in the 2.5 hour period). The guests enjoyed them when they were singing, but I don't feel like we got value for our dollar and that we fell short of our goal.

:

This is the first time we have ever received a rating of less than 5. At our vendor meeting on August 27, the client changed our start time to 6:15, which we did at no additional charge. At that meeting, Mrs. Stevens instructed me to take our direction from the wedding planner. As far as the dinner break, the wedding planner approached us and told us to stop and have dinner. After about 3 bites, the planner came back and said the client wanted us back on stage NOW, which we did. I am truly sorry for the glitch, but I feel we have been unfairly blamed for something beyond our control.
