All of our jazz groups are composed of top professional Colorado musicians with extensive experience in playing all types of events, both public and private, and all types of jazz styles. We are a member in good standing with the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau, have performed more events than any other gigmasters jazz-band and can be counted on to provide the highest standards in both our music and professionalism. Peneplain Jazz groups are typically built around a dynamic rhythm section of piano, bass and drums to which we add "front-line" instrumentation as needed. Available "front-line" instruments include : saxophone, trumpet, trombone, vocalists (possible additional cost depending on individual selected), guitar, flute, clarinet, and vibraphone. We also have a sax player that doubles as a vocalist and a trumpet player that doubles as a vocalist (both male) if available and we can play as a duo or trio without drums if desired. We play all styles of Jazz; from swing to bop, latin to contemporary, background music, smooth Jazz, funk and even some jazzed-up instrumental versions of various pop tunes. We also have a sizable collection of classical music for wedding ceremonies (priced separately) and plenty of songs for the holiday season including many of the standard Christmas carols and the entire Charlie-Brown Christmas album.
