The Ryan Elwood Jazz Ensemble Jazz Band from Denver, CO

The Ryan Elwood Jazz Ensemble performs unique and energetic jazz in a fun and listener-friendly fashion. Ryan has been playing drums since he was nine-years-old, and began playing professionally at age fifteen. He has worked as a sideman for many jazz artists, including vocalist Deborah Stafford, the Jazz West Big Band, and guitarist Eric Dorn. For his own group, Ryan has called upon the talents of Denver's best jazz musicians, which currently features the talents of Andy Sharp on piano, Pete Pheteplace on guitar, and Tim Carmichael on bass. Also, at select gigs, be sure to catch the quartet with world class vocalist Barbara Paris. Since January of 2006, the Ryan Elwood Quartet has been performing at venues like the Robusto Room and Trios Enoteca, as well as at events for large corporations, small businesses, and private individuals.
