The Soo Sings Band loves to help make your event as special as it should be! A professional, full service band, based in San Diego, California, serving Southern California (San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles), we play everything from Jazz to R&B, Blues, Rock, Pop and Gospel. If you like Post Modern Jukebox, you've come to the right place. We love mixing in tunes from Frank Sinatra to Britney Spears' "Toxic" done with a swing! As the lead vocalist and bandleader, Soo's unique blend of sounds, from the sweet tone of jazz, to a powerhouse of soul and blues, commands the stage, making music the language of love, friendship, and fun enjoyment. Her heartfelt performances connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, and her lifelong goal is to take this gift to listeners all around the world. Soo Sings is a 1-7 person band, depending on your vision for your event (eg. acoustic trio, or a large swing band). Available ensembles are: - Vocals (Male & Female) - Pianist / Electric Keyboard - Electric Guitar / Acoustic Guitar - Electric Bass / Upright Bassist - Drumset or Percussion (Eg. Cajon, Marimba, Vibes) - Horns / Brass (Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet Soo has graced such stages as The Canyon in Agoura Hills, the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the Mainstage at Revivus Festival, Orange County and San Diego County Fairs. Large Venues include countless country clubs, The Hotel Roosevelt, The Langham Pasadena and The Ritz Carlton. Corporations have hired Soo Sings for company and holiday events, from engineering to accounting firms, and larger firms like Kaiser Permanente. Soo Sings is available to play for private parties, corporate events, weddings, festivals, fundraisers, country clubs, holiday / Christmas parties, restaurants, senior centers, bars / lounges, funerals, and churches.
