Having heard Barney and the crew playing online, we had fairly high expectations for our wedding reception. Yet the band still managed to blow us away. Not only was the music great, but everyone in the room was dancing at one time or another. The band did a fantastic job putting together the songs we requested. At one point, the groom's family (from Tennessee) made a request for Rocky Top (their school fight song). Barney and his crew had never before played song, but managed to play it amazingly later in the night. Only a really talented group could pull that off. Of course, many of our guest told us during and after the reception that they loved the band.

Barney and his orchestra made our event very special. They were perfect, despite the all-day BLIZZARD! Their professionalism was top-notch! Barney's communication set our minds at ease, and the band's performance was lose yet flawless. As a bonus, Barney's personality easily won over the audience and the band's ability to adapt (even when confronted with song requests and spur-of-the-moment participation from "spirited" guests) was brilliant. You can't go wrong with The Barney Griffin Orchestra. They will keep hard-core party goers on their feet, without forgetting the more tame and sentimental among us. All the best, Nora and Damian.

All of our guests loved The Barney Griffin Orchestra including some musicians. They really got everyone excited & played just what we asked & more. They were great!!

I was very impressed with the Barney Griffin Orchestra. They were very responsive to all my wishes and were very adaptable. They performed outside at my wedding ceremony, in another room for the cocktail hour, and yet another location for the reception and everything flowed smoothly. Considering we had no maitre d', Barney had to go above and beyond the responsibilities of a band. The whole evening was wonderful and went off without a hitch. Oh, and regarding thier talent, I give them a 10! They sounded fantastic and I received many, many compliments from the guests. I definately recommend the Barney Griffin Orchestra.

Barney Griffin contacted me immediately after I posted my request. Once he learned about the nature of the event (a not for profit celebration honoring our best volunteers) he was genuinely interested and made every effort to work with us given our limited budget. On the day of the event, the band arrived 1/2 hour earlier and played a 2 hour set of great rock n roll, jazz standards and even took requests from the audience. It was a pleausre to work with the Barney Griffin Band and I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again soon. Great job and they are highly recommended.

These guys are the best and I consistently had compliments on their performance all night. They arrived early enough to do their own set-up well before the party began, and modified their volume to accommodate the museum architecture. They played a variety of Rock N Roll and Jazz favorites, and had the crowd dancing by the end. They were a delightful addition to our event, and I would DEFINITELY recommend them without reserve and book them again in an instant.

These guys were talented, as nice as can be. Adjusted to slight schedule changes, Barney played solo guitar during cocktails first thirty minutes, and coordinated with kids dj for games. Great variety of music, but not much top forty. Lots of great feedback from guests.

The Barney Griffin Orchestra was a pleasure to work with before and during our party. They were accessible, professional, warm, and adaptable throughout. We enjoyed working with them, enjoyed their presence at our party, and appreciated their musical range. I would happily use them again for a party!
