If your looking for a talented, reliable, professional and personable jazz artist / singer to complement your wedding and/or wedding reception, look no further than Marlene and her ensemble. I live in Texas and got super lucky when I found and hired Marlene Jazz Ensemble to play at my wedding reception atop the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge. Over the weeks leading up to the event on April 2,2022, Marlene "teamed" with me on planning the music to create the right mood and graciously agreed to facilitate the reception "program". I can't say enough about how wonderful Marlene and her group were as musicians as well as on a personal level. They are a 5 star class act.

It was a pleasure working with Marlene, she is professional with a friendly and upbeat personality. The sound of the band is true to the cd that you can hear on their webpage. I highly recommend the Marlene Jazz Trio/Quartet. Great band!

The Marlene Jazz Ensemble provided the cocktail hour music for our wedding at Wequasset. Marlene is incredibly talented, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We had a Brazilian themed cocktail hour, as my husband and I got engaged in Rio. So the music to us was very special. Our guests were raving about Marlene and her team as my guests were sipping on Caipirinhas. It was truly perfect and we felt like we were back in Brazil! If you are looking for beautiful music to accompany your wedding, look no further than the Marlene Jazz Ensemble!!

Marlene and Doug were amazing!!! I wish I could leave more then 5 stars. I hired them to play at the Boston Public Garden for a proposal. They arrived early, sounded amazing, and made it a lovely event. When I have another need for a jazz band, I know who I'm calling!
