Accompanied by my loop pedal, I love playing song into song, mashing up unexpected covers into jam medleys. My guitar playing style is often compared to Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), and my voice is compared to Elliott Smith, Sufjan Stevens, and Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie). I've been playing guitar for nearly 20 years, and I've been in my indie folk trio Cold Weather Company (also on this site) for 13 years. We've toured domestically and internationally performing our 5 albums of original music, and we play all types of private gigs from corporate events to weddings to backyard parties. As a solo singer-acoustic guitarist-loop pedaler, I often perform at restaurants and cocktail bars, wedding cocktail hours, and more. I know how to read the room and play covers for all audiences. Some of my favorite artists to cover are Dave Matthews Band, Blink-182, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Grateful Dead, Talking Heads, Bob Marley, Peter Gabriel, and many more. I also include a lot of early 2000's pop hits, oldies, 90's rock hits, and more. My fun fact is that I actually play guitar backwards. I taught myself that way as a kid and stuck with it!
