I can't say enough about how impressed I was Karaoke Houston and James. From the moment we selected them as a vendor communication was clear and easy to access. The website walks you through all forms and requirements of your events and even the process of selecting the personal touches that make the event yours. Because everything is online, there was never any confusion about information I owed, which was very helpful in planning an event. James was also very prompt in communicating. Day of, he encouraged people to dance and sing. He worked with our day of schedule and everyone had a GREAT TIME! Thanks James!

We booked a DJ for our church youth event and it was a big hit! Just a couple days before the event we changed the time frame and they were very accommodating. DJ James from Karaoke Houston came out and even brought the karaoke system which was a blast and huge success! We will definitely use them again and recommend them for any event! DJ James was very professional and did way more then we excepted.

James was outstanding. not only did he arrive early to ensure he found the location which was in the middle of the country, but he was very professional, flexible and truly made the party. Having a DJ for our event was uncanning as we hosted a birthday party in a barn. this in itself did not phase James as he performed just like he were in the Four Seasons Hotel!!
Karaoke Houston will get our business again in the future and all of our friends at the party were very impressed.

James & Jodie were wonderful. They met with us twice before the event and made sure everything ran smoothly. During the event, James approached me as I was loosing my mind, he told me to have a seat and just enjoy my daughters wedding. He handled everything perfectly. Jodie had selected all the right music to keep my daughters and son-in-law out on the dance floor. She had something for all the guests. I couldn't have hoped for better DJ's. I will definitly recommend them to others and will use them for our christmas party this December.

Like many women, I had been dreaming about my wedding for a very long time. But one of the most important aspects of my wedding was the music. I LOVE TO DANCE so I wanted to make sure I had the BEST music! That's what my husband and I received when we hired Pro Karaoke and DJ Specialist. I would recommend them at any time, they were GREAT!!!!! We a great time with great muisc. They were organized, timely and professional. James did an amazing job pronouncing everyone's name correctly and we really appreciated his friendliness, professionalism, and courteousness. Even before the event, I could tell that the personal attention we would receive from Karaoke Houston was going to be awesome. I got phone calls, e-mails that made me feel confident about my choice. Setting up was a breeze with Frank - he was very professional, came in, set up, and even figured out the stage lighting for the karaoke!
Frank was our DJ and he did a great job. Once karaoke started - there was no turning back. The kids slammed him with requests. He rolled with the tons of kids screaming requests and remained calm and kept them having fun. He even managed to get me on stage - completely unplanned. And even got me to sing Shania Twain - what a riot!
Beyond the stage performance, Frank was genuine, helpful and patient. He helped when help was needed lifting heavy things, he even helped me with locking up at the end of the night.
I would recommend Karaoke Houston a billion times over. They totally made my event amazing and 50 kids that partied with them at our Sweet 16 bash would agree. Thanks for making the entire process so easy, affordable and amazing!

Ryan is a General Manager for a new chain of Restaurant here in the Houston area. He re-hired us after this event for a "late" Christmas party for his employees and has since hired us for DJ and Karaoke in his establishment for Monday and Wednesday nights. These are down days for us so, we took on the extra shows as we are full time DJ's.

We needed DJ/Karaoke services in Austin. It didn't look like that would happen until we looked at Gigmasters and found Karaoke Houston. For a bit extra, James traveled to Austin, did exactly what we wanted. The DJ plays such an important role in a wedding reception, and James did fantastic. The evening was a blast, everybody had so much fun, and James played a big role in that!

The DJ did not make the event move along. I was constantly asked questions on what to do next. I went to extreme measures to make sure all of the songs and details were provided to them on their online spreadsheet as well as one I had created myself. It had very specific times and songs. Most of the songs I asked to be played were not, the DJ did a horrible job announcing what was going to happen and getting people up and involved and when someone made a request - she would stop the song that was playing and start playing the new one. Not happy at all with the service and I feel like it was a complete waste of money!

The Disc Jockey that performed at this event is a 25 year wedding DJ specialist. We have sent her out to over 75 weddings through our company over the last seven years. This is the first complaint that we have ever received on her. Our system does allow you too select music. However, our online system also has a planner and timeline neither of which were filled out. Our system is automated and sent out several reminders as well as several telephone messages requesting this information. Also, there was no go-to person listed either. This event ended with a hug and generous tip. Two weeks later the client emailed stating that we played only a couple songs from her list. There was never a list just a few artists listed. We had asked her numerous times for a list. She stated we didn't even play the artists requested so I sent her a date and time stamped list showing that we played numerous songs from those artists throughout the night. That did not satisfy her so she falsified an email by pasting a list in a previous email. When I called her out on it, she stated she deleted the original email and "Made" it by memory. This is a prime example or review blackmail. Yes, it's a real thing.

ALL of the feedback I have received from attendees has been tip-top perfect!
James arrived at the Westchase in PLENTY of time to meet with me and get all of his gear brought in and set up. He was SUPER-accommodating throughout the event, and was even to make a last minute change on-the-fly to our closing song of the event. I would certainly hire James again for any other such event that comes along in the future.
