Mike was terrific to work with from start to finish. Very professional and very responsive, he ran a great party. He kept the momentum going really nicely, and was flexible throughout the evening. We had an absolutely terrific time, and I was flooded with messages this morning from friends wanting to schedule our next karaoke jam with Mike. We're picking a date, and the people who couldn't make it last night are swearing they won't miss the next one. It was perfect.

Hired Mike without knowing anything about him, Showed up on time,Very personable, easy going. Made the party a lot of fun. Very understanding( listening to us attempt to sing!) We were having so much fun, we actually hired Mike to stay a little longer than originally agreed. He was great. look forward to hiring again next time. Thanks!

WOW!!! Only word to describe Mike. My fiance hired him for my bridal shower. He had the most reasonable price. We were able to email him a list of songs ahead of time and my guests were able to request songs on the spot. Everyone was having so much fun I paid him to stay for an extra hour! When performers were having difficulty with the words he would get them back on track. Next time I'm having a party or anyone else I am recommending Mike. It was the first bridal shower that the guests were "happy when they left" instead of "happy to leave"!

We hired Mike, sight unseen, thru the Gigmasters web site. So we weren't sure what we would really be getting. Have to say, he had a very large playlist, and helped us get the crowd dancing and doing Karaoke. Could not have been more satisfied. His prices are extremely reasonable and he offers a great playlist. People were quite impressed wiht him. We would absolutely use him again!

Mike was excellent. Karaoke really was a great touch to our annual Halloween party. He's a nice guy and had a very fair price. The only thing is we didn't have a compatible TV to work as a monitor for all the guests to see. He only provides the monitor for the singer. Other than that, we would consider using Mike anytime we wanted to hire someone for karaoke.

I'm surprised. I provided PA systems in three separate locations: ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Played every single one of the bride's requests, especially at cocktail hour where, as it turned out, was not able to be present. I was also the master of ceremonies, but otherwise faded into the background as requested. The dance floor was full most of the night and knowing the bride's taste in music, I was surprised to see her both dancing and singing along to the teeny bopper music requested by the children in attendance. I purchased most of that music on my smartphone n the fly to fulfill requests. A 10-hour job overall, shocked at these ratings.

I really hate to give poor reviews but we were very disappointed in Mike's performance-or mostly lack there of. It did rain on&off during our outdoor event, but we provided a tent, & plastic for rain cover. He basically sat at his computer the entire 6 hrs and did not encourage anyone to sing, or help anyone along. Being billed as a professional singer, he never took the mic to sing once. He had 1 song book to look through, and just didn't seem like the happy, fun guy he is billed to be. There was no "karaoke show" & I would not describe him as a "host or DJ"-there was no interaction with my guests other than taking song requests, which he did without a smile.

I do not put on a show at private parties. I facilitate for the guests. The day started with a young girl singing 3 songs. I DJed in between. Once the guests started making requests to sing, the karaoke portion was continuous for several hours, with the guests being the focus as it should be. I added around 30 titles to my song list to accommodate requests made in advance by the hosts, including Phil's "theme song," "Not Afraid" by Eminem, We had an issue with rain and a leaky tent and there was not a lot of room but this could not have been foreseen. I was asked to stay for an extra hour, which indicated to me that things were going well.

We hired Mike to emcee our wedding reception. Since we had previously hired a karaoke band that we knew, we wanted to hired someone that could sing with the band if need be. Mike performed his duties to the highest of professionalism. He was very personable and his interaction with the band and our guests well surpassed our expectations. He told us he could sing, and he was a great singer! We would recommend Mike to anyone, we loved him! Thanks Mike again for making our special day perfect! Jim/Carol
