Johnny D was incredible. He was very professional, very accommodating and the afternoon and evening went off without a hitch. He also attended our after party and brought his piano! I loved that he’s not only a DJ but a great piano player and singer! It was the best of both worlds, live music and a DJ spinning the hits. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone! EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL & IT SHOWS! It rained on the day of my event. Johnny D was to be outside - I had to move him inside to a much smaller. He immediately knew where to set-up to maximize space for dancing but at the same time not impede flow between the rooms. Johnny D inserted so many little extra special touches that I did not know I could have even requested: a disco ball, karaoke, etc. He was flexible on song choices, and worked well with both the children and adults. Johnny D made the event extra specially. I would use him again and will recommend him in the future.

Disappointing

Johnny D has never received a score this low in over 30 years of DJ'ing. I made numerous attempts to contact the client Mandy W. to apologize and find out why she was so disappointed. No reply from her. The groom tipped me $60 after the reception so I was shocked to receive this completely unfair review from the bride. My DJ equipment was completely setup an hour prior to the reception. ALL the music I played was selected by the bride and groom. They gave me a playlist of 9 hours worth of music for a 7 hour reception. I dressed according to their preferences. The volume was kept at a comfortable level. Guests danced and had fun. Very nice venue and staff. JD

Johnny D EXCEEDED my expectations and made the 60th birthday party I was hosting a complete success! Our wedding DJ canceled on us just weeks before our reception. We were stressed! We contacted Johnny D and he was able to DJ for us on very short notice! Johnny D demonstrated excellent communication skills & attention to detail prior to, and during our reception. He kept our party going strong and we would highly recommend Johnny D to anybody planning a wedding reception or party!

We loved having Johnny D. DJ our Halloween party! The crowd was small, but Johnny D. kept everyone going with a wide-ranging selection of music; there were oldies, top 40 hits, halloween music, etc etc. Johnny D is very professional, is quick at setting up, and was perfect for our low-key event!
