Imagine you only had the use of one arm.  Imagine everything you owned fit into a carry-on bag.  Imagine only having seven shirts, each with a day of the week written on them.  Well, meet Derrick Tennant.

Derrick suffered a life-altering brain injury that ended a promising sports career, but it certainly didn't slow down his LIFE. Unable to use much of his body's left side, he still competed internationally, playing basketball. Derrick incorporates his disability into his jokes at the club and his message of changing obstacles into opportunities in corporate presentations worldwide.

Clean, Inspirational, and actually funny. This is a combination that is tough to find. Derrick makes a living making people laugh and often inspires them along the way. Whether online with Zoom or in person from the stage, your audience will be moved. From entertaining at an A-list comedy club on Friday night to a Saturday afternoon magic show at the Children's hospital or speaking at Sunday morning service, Derrick is pretty versatile. You've seen him on The Mike Huckabee Show, DRYBAR Comedy, PUREFLIX and more. A gifted communicator, Derrick will capture your audience's attention and powerfully convey the message. As an accomplished magician, he can add even more value to your event by creating smiles and "wows" at the cocktail hour or even after an event.

A minimalist, Derrick has no house or apartment.  All of his possessions actually fit in one carry-on.  He has seven shirts. ( yes, Monday, Tuesday, Wed... )  He travels worldwide, bringing smiles and communicating his message:  Live Simply.  Love Wastefully.

Derrick prides himself in custom tailoring each performance.  Virtual or live, his presentation is catered specifically for your company and/ or the audience.  He also uses your theme, logos, colors, and the like in his presentation on screen. He will work with you directly to ensure it is a home run for everyone!

Our whole team strongly agreed that Derrick was the highlight of our two day conference in Nashville! He was humorous, enthusiastic, and heartfelt. He kept our team engaged and captivated with his dynamic storytelling and genuine outlook on life.  After sharing with Derrick that our team ran into several obstacles in the beginning of the year after a merger, he focused on turning obstacles into opportunities which also ties in perfectly with our firm mission statement. What an amazing experience. Derrick was extremely professional and an amazing inspiration!

Derrick and Julie were wonderful!  They joined us for a school assembly focusing on Character Education and left a lasting impression with our students and staff.  Derrick created a presentation that was based on the character traits we taught throughout the year and served as a wonderful culmination of our lessons.  The presentation was engaging and funny but also extremely impactful, demonstrating the importance of a positive attitude, perseverance and dedication.  Thank you, Derrick and Julie!
