I spent 25-years at Johnson & Johnson, in various leadership roles, and I learned that a key to J & J's success is the TRUST they've built with their key audiences. The J & J credo is a one-page document that directs the company regarding how they should respond and handle different situations. This 4 paragraph document addresses the company's responsibilities to their customers, employees, communities, and shareholders... in that order. This approach, which has helped J & J survive and thrive through product recalls, economic challenges, and lawsuits to remain one of the most well respected companies in the world, is what led me to develop the "TRUST Success Model".
