The instruments the band plays are the charango, the quena, the quenacho, the mama quena, the zampona, the chajchas, the cajon, and the bombo. He began playing when he was 11 years old, and has been performing ever since. He is a member of the Sociedad Boliviana del Charango. He participated in the gathering of 2000 Charangos in Cochabamba, Bolivia in 2024. He is a student of Alfredo Coca and César Requena. He has performed with Alfredo Coca, Eddy Navía, and César Requena. Andrew Kuster is a renowned percussionist from Cochabamba, Bolivia. He is a student of Rene Averanga Moya of Cochabamba. Nathaniel Kuster is a renowned quenista. The quena discovered him when he was a young child in Lima, Peru. He has been performing ever since. Nathaniel is also known by his stage name, Chichí Pérez. He has performed with Alfredo Coca and Eddy Navía. He has performed with many bands in Bolivia and the United States. Jatun Runa can play as a four- or five-person band too.
