About Vendor

We are Monamor. If you want your guests to feel welcome, linger, and maybe get up and dance, that’s what we do. We’re a Seattle-based acoustic Latin ensemble founded and led by Colombian vocalist Monica Ramos. We perform boleros, son cubano, cha cha chá, cumbia, and Latin jazz, the timeless songs of the great Latin American songbook. The music sets a warm, elegant mood from the moment your guests arrive. We play at a volume that lets conversation flow, and as the room is ready, we build into something more festive. Soft and romantic for a ceremony or dinner, upbeat when it’s time to dance. What you can count on A band sized to your event. Voice, guitar, and upright bass at the core, with Latin percussion and trumpet for larger celebrations. No technical worries. We bring our own sound system, arrive early to set up and soundcheck, and can play fully acoustic for intimate spaces. Your special song. Have a song that means something to you? We can arrange it for your event for an additional fee. Easy planning. We coordinate the timeline with you or your planner ahead of time, in English or Spanish. Clients book us for weddings, christenings, corporate events, fundraisers, heritage month celebrations, and private dinners, and venues book us as an opening act. We’ve performed at Northwest Folklife, Seattle Center, The Royal Room, Nectar Lounge among others. Our musicians bring 25+ years of combined experience. Our reviews mention the warm atmosphere, the perfect volume, and how easy we are to work with. Send us your date and we’ll put together a quote for you.
