Sancocho Latin Band from Clinton Corners, NY

Sancocho is an Instrumental Latin Fusion band of many styles and flavors. Comprised of seasoned , professional players. Instrumentation consists of Classical guitar , bass, 2 or three Latin percussionists, and an esoteric , beautiful instrument called the Tres. The Tres is a traditional Cuban instrument which helps provide the traditional cuban sound and carries the tumbao. Sancocho plays many styles to please the pallet of our diverse audiences. Styles include the traditional Flamenco,Son Montuno, Guijira, Cha cha cha,Salsa. merengue, popular 50's Latin tunes, and recently popular styles such as Bachatta, Cumbia, and even Reggaeton and more! We also play latin versions of American standards. Infectious rhythms and sweet sounds of Sancocho please the very young , very mature and everyone in between.
