Tempo Alegre is a premier Latin music band dedicated to bringing the party to your next event! Timeliness, a great and varied repertoire, and quality of performance are our 3 top priorities. We have perform at just about all types of events including weddings, sweet 16 and other birthday celebrations, galas, corporate and cultural events, festivals, nightclubs, and even backyard bbq(s)! We have experienced and dedicated musicians, and just as important, musicians who love music, and transmit that love for music to the audience. We perform a variety of Latin styles, including merengue, salsa, bachata, cumbia, bolero, and others. As we are fully bilingual, some of the tunes in our repertoire have English lyrics, but always with a Latin flavor. These include merengue versions of Careless Whisper and Hello, salsa versions of Hotel California and Dreaming of you, Sway, and others. Tempo Alegre is located in Central New Jersey, but we are willing to travel. We have been a member of The Bash (Gig Masters) since January 2009. We play mostly private shows, and take great care in the special details required by weddings, sweet 16 parties, and other once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.
