Originally from Argentina, Sofia Tosello is one of the most versatile singers in NYC. Sofia has an extensive and varied repertoire from Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, among others. All her background in music is based on Jazz Repertoire so she can also sing Jazz!!!! She has performed with Pedro Giraudo Jazz Orchestra, Aquiles Baez, Thalia, Julio Santillan, Alex Cuba, Folklore Urbano in renown venues such as Summer Stage Central Park, the Blue Note, Joe's Pub, The Heckscher Theater, Jazz Standard, BAM Café, Aaron Davis Hall and other NYC landmarks, as well the Art Museum of Philadelphia, , Michigan Women's Festival, Teatro Real (Argentina), Macau Jazz Festival (China) among others. Yuri Juárez is a guitarist, arranger and composer from Lima, Perú specializing in Afro-Peruvian music, folk and fusion (pop, jazz and classical). Yuri has shared the stage and recorded with the likes of Eva Ayllón, Susana Baca, Chaqueta Piaggio, iconic Peruvian composer Kiri Escobar, and trail blazing bands including the Gabriel Alegría Afro-Peruvian Sextet, Arturo O'Farrill's Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, Novalima, Teatro del Milenio. In 2008 Yuri releases his first album, Afro Peruano, which achieves great success in domestic and international criticism and in 2009 receives the Latin Jazz Corner Awards in the categories of Best Afro-Peruvian Jazz Album and Best Latin Jazz Guitarist debut. This Latin/Jazz Trio can play music from all over Latin America (Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico,etc) from traditional to modern (pop) repertoire.
