Jose helped to make my wedding perfect! Everyone was commenting on his performance and some said they would book him for the next function! I would highly recommend him for your event. April

BEWARE OF THIS ONE! This musician is unique in that his harp is accompanied by recorded music giving the sound of a full band. BUT HE DOESN'T USE CONTRACTS and he BACKED OUT of performing at our weddding only 11 DAYS BEFOREHAND! We booked him in January and then he left the country for an extended period of time assuring us that he would be back to perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. But only 11 days beforehand, he emailed us to say he couldn't make it back. He offered to return our $50 deposit (still waiting for it) but the deposit was not our concern. It was a nightmare trying to find someone to replace him as everyone was already booked. Not exactly the kind of stress a bride and groom want to deal with only 11 days before their wedding. Thank goodness for the kindness of the musicians in our area who referred us to many, many other musicians and after making call after call, we finally were able to find one harpist who could fit our event into her schedule. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE is our advise if you choose Jose Correa to perform at your event. HAVE A BACKUP PLAN. REBUTTAL TO MUSICIAN'S REBUTTAL: Jose Correa states below that he cancelled one month before the wedding, but that is not true. We booked him in January 2007. In March, I tried to get in touch with him to confirm our music selection but was unable to reach him via email or phone. I contacted Gigmasters at that time and told them I could not reach him and they told me that his account with them was up for renewal but had not been renewed yet. Then, on April 2, 2007 Jose finally replied to my emails stating that he was having trouble getting a flight back to the US and would let me know by April 6 (8 days before the wedding) if he could get a flight back before April 14. We immediately began scrambling to find a replacement. On April 6, he emailed me again confirming that he would not be back for the wedding. Our wedding was April 14, 2007. It is not my intention to hurt Jose Correa's bookings. I'm sure he has been very reliable to others and he may think he has a legitimate reason for backing out of our booking, but a wedding is a BIG event in the lives of a bride and groom and to have a vendor back out so close to the wedding day is extremely stressful and disappointing. He states below that he couldn't get a flight back and we feel that he should have made his flight plans well in advance knowing that he had committed to performing at a wedding on April 14. That lack of planning, and casual dismissal of an event so important to a couple is inexcusable. I feel it is my duty to let others know what happened so hopefully the same thing won't happen to them. I'm simply suggesting to anyone considering this musician that if you book him, have a back up plan. If he doesn't back out, your guests will enjoy his talent and if he does back out, you will have a back up plan so you won't have to go through what we went through. Jose is absolutely the best I highly recommend him for any side of party or event. Truly, Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Jose, we will never forget this.

We enjoyed Jose very much. The two year old children were mesmerized by the harp and the sounds. My two year old danced a few times to his music. I love the sound of the harp, it is perfect for s dinner party. Thankyou Jose. July
