In our longtime incarnation as Half-Pack Live!, we brought the swing (and the blues, pop, and R&B) to hundreds of events, delighting clients and their guests alike. (See our reviews!) Re-branding as the Social Mix reflects our commitment not only to the above styles but to our extended experience in vintage French swing ("Gypsy jazz"), and 1920s-style American jazz ("Gatsby" or "Dixie" music). Our band configuration is flexible to fit any size event, venue or budget. From a trio all the way up to a 8-piece band with horns and anything in between, the Social Mix has just the right answer for whatever your event requires. The Social Mix knows the ropes well. Our hundreds of performances since 2007 include scores of weddings of every imaginable kind, a multitude of corporate events, private parties and events, and retirement community performances.
