The Lizzy Band Dance Band from Portsmouth, RI

The Lizzy Band covers a variety of material from each decade, including pop, rock, soul, disco standards and contemporary ballads. We are well experienced at playing restaurants and situations where we start out low key while people are still eating, and then gradually work in the dance music as the night progresses. The description I've been given of our band that I like best is "a dance party for the ladies." The Lizzy Band is a four to seven piece group. Depending on the situation, we can go out as a powerful four piece combo consisting of bass, drums, keyboards and guitar, or we can enhance with a partial or full horn section. Generally, the four piece works well in most situations and that's what you'll hear on the demo.
