WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU HIRE ME AS A CARICATURIST FOR YOUR EVENT: I will need about 15 minutes for setup before the event (please prepare two chairs and a small table) and 15 minutes to pack up. I will also need access to electricity (if light is limited, please let me know, and I will bring my lamps) and shelter from extreme heat or cold. After my setup, I will have two chairs for guests to sit on facing me, while I draw caricatures of them. If they prefer, I can even take a quick photo of them and use it as my reference instead. (This option seems to be a big hit! Guests even texted me their favorite photo of themselves from the past.) After I am done, I carefully hand it over to guests, along with a clear plastic bag and an elastic band for storage. I can draw approximately: 15-20 linear faces per hour 10-15 black and white faces per hour 8-10 colored faces per hour 10-15 linear faces with bodies per hour 7-12 black and white faces with bodies per hour 6-8 colored faces with bodies per hour On 12x9 in paper, using a black marker with a maximum of 4 faces drawn per sheet of paper. (Client must request and select templates for the bodies or any other theme no later than 72 hours before the event, with a one-time revision at no cost. If you would like to make additional revisions, I would be happy to do so for an extra charge of $5 per revision.)
