Judah Buxton has been acting and performing for over fifteen years. He began onstage as a drummer in 1990 at age twelve. At age fourteen he began acting, and by fifteen he was touring children's theatre into local elementary schools.

At age eighteen Judah became intrigued with the world of mime and silent story telling. By nineteen he was co-founder of Imagination Express, San Diego's only mime troupe. For over a decade Judah has made his mark as a mime upon stages throughout Southern California. Whether it is elementary schools or corporate events, Judah's charisma and comic timing have captivated audiences of all ages.

At age eighteen Judah also began teaching theatre and directing plays at Centers of Learning by the Sea'Extended Program, a private school in south San Diego at which he taught for 12 years. At age 20 Judah began teaching theatre and mime for Christian Youth Theatre, and taught classes for several years. He has also taught mime to children through the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.  Judah loves children and will continue teaching for as long as he can. A child's innocence, honesty, and spirit of discovery will always be an inspiration.

In 2003 Judah delved into the colorful art of clowning. He began learning balloon sculpture, magic, and face painting. These skills, along with the physical comedy of mime and his love for children, have made Judah an instant success as a clown. His years of working with children as a performer and as a teacher have given Judah a sensitivity to the needs of children, and help him to 'clown around' with children of all ages.

Creative Entertainment by Judah did an amazing job entertaining our children at our family's wedding rehearsal dinner at The Crossings at Carlsbad on May 25, 2012.   Erica, from Creative Entertainment by Judah, came early, set-up, and was ready for our guest's arrival at 6 p.m. and stayed through 7:30 p.m.  Erica was great with the children, ages 2-7 (12 kids)!  She did balloon twisting, airbrush tatoos, and some magic throughout the entire event.  The kids loved her!  She was very professional and engaging with the kids.  Well done, Creative Entertainment by Judah!  

I was in need of a last minute balloon twister. I searched this site on Thursday and got a response within 30minutes. Judah is very good and his work is amazing. He's great with the kids and they loved him. I had him come for 2 hours and the kids were a in a line non stop! They kept asking for a variety of characters and he did all they asked. I would totally recommend Judah for those that are looking for a pro who really knows how to work with kids. The adults at the party kept complimenting on how entertaining he is and about the colorful  big/tall hats their kids were sporting ;) We loved him and would hire him again.

Judah was awesome and the kids really loved his amazing balloon creation!  I would highly recommend him!!

Extremely pleased with Judah's performance.  Judah was punctual,professional, and very pleasant. I was very impressed with Judah's proficiency in face painting & his creative talent in balloon twisting.  He worked with kids between 4-17 years old in a private birthday party and was very entertaining while working. I recommend him to anyone looking for a face painter or balloon twister.
