Adam Stone is
A magician who performs both live stage events as well as private parties in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Deleware. I have provided entertainment for children, adults, festivals, corporate gatherings, and restaurants. As a classically trained magician, I specialize in sleight of hand using cards, coins, and other everyday items blended with the discipline known as mentalism or mind reading.
I have performed in a variety of different venues and for a variety of clientele. Wither rich or poor, old or young; everyone needs that gift magic will give you. It's that moment where you feel like anything is possible like you have just witnessed something so important this moment will stay with you the rest of your life. What it comes down to is this, I enjoy interacting with people, especially making them happy. I am easy going, creative and very hard working and bring years of experience working with adults and children to each and every show I do.
Whenever I begin working with someone new, I listen to them to find out what I could do to give them the event of their dreams. I then start planning and create a whole new show based on our collective vision using the information they have told me, my vast knowledge of magical effects, along with details such as their party theme, the guest of honor and the interests of their guests.
I am a former award-winning special education teacher turned IT nerd. One day my daughters signed me up to be in the Nutcracker ballet with them in the role of Drosselmeyer, the magician uncle and I figured if I was going to do this, I better learn some magic. I went to Denny and Lee's Magic Studio in Rosedale Maryland where the owner, Denny Haney, took me under his wing. Performing magic gives me a chance to make kids laugh as I used to in the classroom, without any of the horrible teaching setbacks like summers off. Because I have 15 years of experience working with children K-12, I genuinely enjoy being around them and interacting with them.
Initially, I thought magic was just for kids, you know, like the cereal, but when working at restaurants, I noticed the parents would often react more than their kids. I then started working with one of the great card manipulators of our time, Peter Galinskas. As his student, I began practicing almost continuously to refine my very rough edges and continue down the path of becoming a real magician. Today I love the chance to perform and would be honored if you would consider having me at your next event.
