Hi there! I'm Alex Offenkrantz and I've been doing magic professionally for 18 years. (I'm 26) I specialize in sleight of hand card magic and getting people who don't like magic to change their minds. I performed for Jason Alexander and he told me "you are clearly a storyteller". That was when I knew I wanted to pursue magic professionally. I spend my time practicing, and thinking of new tactics of how to get your guests to have the best time. A lot of time and thought has gone into the development of my act and persona, and I think you'll find that self-evident not only from seeing me perform, but also by speaking with me beforehand. When I was only 8 years old I was hired by a local restaurant to perform magic once a week. My show was called Magic for Muggles, and performed at birthday parties, and even did a public show at the library. I had an article written up about me in the Palm Beach Post. I spent the next 18 years honing my skills. I try to make magic that's relatable. I'm a human being and I'm not trying to create a divide between myself and everyone else. Magic reveals our similarities, and brings people together. In between the magic I'll spend time mingling and being a generally good energy to have around. Different people hire magicians for different reasons. Maybe they want to impress, or astound, or they themselves love magic.
