Mike Davis Sleight of Hand Artist Magician from Novi, MI

I started magic at a young age, probably around 10 years old. I got interested from a family friend who happened to own a magic shop in Garden City MI. He taught me, and sold me, all my magic for three years. Eventually he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away soon after. I don't know if it was his death or if I had just lost interest in magic at that point; but I stopped performing soon after. I would perform simple effects for friend's family here or there but nothing to serious. It wasn't till I became a husband and father that I decided to take my hobby seriously. I buckled down and started practicing 4 hours a day, and reading every book I could. In the first year I read and listened to over 50 books on magic, public speaking, communicating, and business. My constant drive and passion caught the eye of many people and I gained traction quickly in the community. Working bars, and small parties, I gained the experience and the showmanship skills that have given me a good name among clients and peers. Today I have worked countless private events and weddings with the magic that I developed for adults throughout my career. I have worked for large clients like Chrysler and UHY Tax Consultants. I have worked at restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings, Denny's, Ram's Horn, and Station 885.
