Magic isn’t just about sleight of hand or misdirection at your party, fund raiser, corporate event or holiday banquet. I have been doing magic for over 40 years and performing at a professional level for the last 20. I recently relocated to the Nanaimo area after a career in California as a high tech executive and I am now dedicating my time to my passion, one that I hope to share with you. I perform what is known as walk around, formal close up, or formal parlor magic. Walk-around close-up magic: Magic done for small groups for a few minutes at a time going from table to table at a reception or astonishing your guests while they enjoy a cocktail and then moving to the next group. Formal close-up magic: A 20 to 60 minute show done for 5-25 people around a performance table with the audience interacting with the magician as part of the show. Formal parlor magic: A magic performance for 20-60 people also ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. Highly interactive but designed to scale so people in the back can see.
