We booked Mariachi Michoacán for our Employee Appreciation/Multicultural Day event and they were outstanding! It was easy communicating with Mario Fernandez before the event and upon meeting him he was very professional. They arrived 15 minutes before their scheduled performance and played all the traditional favorites (employees had a great time dancing and singing along). Their female musician is a big plus and really set them apart. The pricing was fair and/or comparable to the other bids. In the end, I received so many compliments about them that you definitely won't be disappointed! (Thank you Mariachi Michoacán for making our event a success!)

Not a fan. GigMasters was supposed to be more convenient and the overall idea is great. But the band(Mariachi Michoacan) I requested was never in contact with me until the day before my party. I emailed ten to fifteen times in a matter of two weeks. I made numerous calls all going to voice mail. I needed to discuss payment, contract options and change the overall length of the gig and that was not possible. When I finally was contacted the day before my party, for the first time, they requested to push back the time of the gig. Which would not have been an issue right after booking but the day before the party was ridiculous. This site is ok but not the band.

This was the easiest booking I have ever done concerning booking a Mariachi group. I placed the request, GigMasters did the rest, before long I got 3 bids I went with Mariachi Michoacan. They were great. They emailed me confirming the appointment and went over any special request. Booking from another state (Arizona) and the event being in Texas I was hesitant but very pleased they were timely and awesome. They knew every request we threw at them and members that sing solos walked into the dining area and sang their hearts out. I would recommend them to anyone needing a professional group of mariachis.

Horrible.We booked them in January for our wedding in April and had multiple conversations with Mario regarding the start time (which was 8:00pm as stated in the contract & never changed). The last phone conversation I had with them was about 2 weeks before our wedding- Mario called to confirm what he thought was the start time of 8:45-I told him no it's at 8:00, he verbalized his understanding. About a week before wedding, our coordinator finally got a hold of them. She told me they thought the start time was 7:00!She told them "NO"start time is 8:00 and to look at contract. Our wedding day is here & guess who doesn't show up?

Mario and the other 4 musicians were wonderful. They sounded great and had beautiful costumes. Even though they had another engagement after ours, they stayed later than planned, since our buses of guests arrived late. I would highly recommend this group to anyone.

They performed wonderfully. Other than the later than hoped arrival, requested 6:30, could not arrive until 8:00, they were great.Everyone there definately enjoyed their performance, plenty of thumbs up!
