Actress Lee Avant is a natural look-alike and spot-on impersonator for First Lady Michelle Obama. An experienced performer and speaker, Lee's credits include national TV appearances and numerous stage performances on both coasts. With the same Chicago charm, poise and height (5'11") as Michelle Obama, Lee Avant is as close as you can get to the First Lady without a secret service pat down. In 2008 when Barack Obama was campaigning for his first term in office, Lee was being stopped by strangers and being told of her resemblance to Michelle Obama. "I honestly didn't think I looked like her, but I was being told so often, by so many people that I had to finally accept it. People would comment on how Mrs. Obama and I were the same height and had the same great arms. That, I couldn't argue with!" A professional actress for the last decade, Lee began performing as a teen in her home state of North Carolina. After graduating from Emerson College (Boston, MA), Lee spent many years working in Los Angeles, in front of and behind the camera.
