DJ showed up 15 minutes prior to event. Was suppose to be there an hour before to set up. Did not engage with the party at all. Dance floor was empty most of the time.

Chuck was fantastic. And that's an understatement. He kept everyone on the dance floor, even up to the last minute of our reception, people didn't want to leave. I've been to other weddings where the music was dull and to be honest, it can ruin an event. But not with Chuck. I can't even remember how many people came up to me and said how awesome Chuck was. He was professional and fun and made our wedding reception the best wedding we've ever been to (and I'm not being biased because it was our wedding). He comes very highly recommended.

I recommend DJ Chuck without reservation! He was cooperative, friendly and professional. I arranged this party from New York City and was always able to reach him with any questions my wife and I had. Of course he played great music, but what was most important is that all of our guests had a great time! DJ Chuck has an outgoing personality that allowed him to get our guests in a "party" mood soon after the event began. During the night I threw some last minute requests at him that he complied with in an instant, literally without missing a beat. He had two young men who helped him through the night. Both set up and break down of equipment were quick & quiet.

DJ Chuck met all of my expectations and then some. When I arrived at the venue at our agreed upon time, the DJ had arrived 30 minutes earlier and was already set up! They were kind, professional and accommodating to the requests of our guests. Most importantly, they got the 2 thumbs up from my 16 year old! The party was a success and I know this was in large part because of the services provided by DJ Chuck.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ CHUCK! You will not be disappointed!

Chuck DJ'd an outdoor 16th birthday party for our son at our home in Grosse Pointe Park. He was wonderful to work with; flexible, exceptionally professional, able to provide a lot of options in terms of music, lighting, etc. Most important, the kids loved him and had a great time. Our son's first question after the party was when we could have him back for another party.

DJ entertainment (Jerry) is very professional and motivated. He was on time and ready to provide appropriate music for the audience (80th Birthday Party) . He provided excellent communications and follow up for the event. I recommend DJ entertainment for any occasion.

He is definitely a crowd pleaser keeping the guests on the dance floor the entire night. I would recommend him to anyone just in need of music for a general party. He bases the music selections on the crowd. I was impressed with his website, which allows you to create playlists and make specific notes. I was, however, disappointed that less than a quarter of the songs on my playlists were actually played He is very passionate about his work and stands behind his song decisions so he became a bit defensive when I followed up with him after the event regarding my concerns. Overall he is a decent dj, just communicate specific requests and confirm prior to the event.

1) When she had communicated her dissatisfaction to me, I was in no way defensive. I just pointed out that I played more than 3/4 of her playlist, when I attempted to stick to her playlist her guest seemed as if they werent enjoying themselves so in an attempt to hype her party back up I reverted to something different (and it got people back on the floor). We did play every song that was requested during the event.
2) We were there set up and playing before any guest arrived
3) We received countless compliments from guest including her and her family on how well we did... To top it off she gave us a cash

My (now) wife and I were stationed overseas in Germany planning a wedding in Michigan where I am from. Detroit DJ Entertainment worked with us with spectacular attitude and commitment from the start, plus we were quoted a great price within our budget. They dealt with our Skype phone calls, and helped us fill out the planning forms, answered all of our questions, and best of all, were very adaptable during the hectic ceremony. The online planning forms and payment ability was super awesome for us and made planning the event convenient. Please give them the highest consideration in your planning!
