Born in Jackson, TN and raised between Vancouver, BC and Miami, FL, Beau excelled in baseball and became a national prospect selected in the 1994 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins. Beau also served his country and is a U.S. Army Infantry Veteran with the 101 st Airborne Division. Despite these outwardly facing images of success and happiness, years of childhood and adult trauma combined with alcohol and drug abuse derailed Beau's life leading to nearly 10 years of incarceration in jails and State Penitentiaries. Beau is now a free man with 6 years of being clean and sober with his number one goal in life set as maintaining his sobriety while sharing his experience, strength, and hope with others. Beau's brand of leadership is so powerful because he has LEVERAGED his own life experiences with the utmost authenticity and vulnerability by sharing his message of redemption, resiliency and a "never give up attitude".. the very things that have allowed him to rise from the ashes and to survive and thrive in all aspects of life again.
