Coach Darrel Motivational Speaker from Jackson, MI

My life mission is to inspire others to do better and live a more fulfilled life. I'm a father of 3 wonderful children, retired Classification Coordinator for the Michigan Department of Corrections, author, artist, life coach and speaker. I grew up in a neighborhood where opportunities for success were limited and the environment didn’t always support personal growth or achievement. It was a place where the odds were stacked against me, but I’ve learned to overcome those challenges and redefine what success means for me. During my 25 plus years for the MDOC, I was told by both staff and inmates that something about me motivates and inspire them to want to do better and that I should become a life coach or motivational speaker. They saw potential in me that I hadn’t recognized in myself. Sometimes, others can see who we truly are before we do, and it’s through their belief in me I chose to get certified as a speaker and life coach. Now I'm speaking on stages or virtually, sharing my experience, knowledge and resources to help guide others to living a more abundant and happier life.
